How to import VM in VMware Player

Sometimes you need to import VM in VMware Player in .vmx format. For this purpose you must available that .vmx file (already imported from other VM software.). You must copy this .vmx file in local drive i.e D:/ drive. Now you run VMWare Player where you want to import your VM. You can view figure below;


After running VMware Player you will see following screen where you will click to open button under commands option.


After clicking open button in above step you need to select your .vmx file from the local path showing in figure below.



Once you selected and opened your VM it will be started.



Now you can increase VM's memory and also troubleshoot it.


After clicking VMware Player than troubleshoot than click on Change Memory Allocation you will see following window where you can adjust memory according to your requirement.

After adjusting memory in above window you are done with importing your VM now you can use this VM.
